Since the early days of our Home Curtain Design Studio, we’ve had a strong commitment to providing the highest quality manufacturing in our industry. And because every one of our projects is custom we are highly detailed oriented. We hand-sew the majority of our products or do a combination of hand sewing and machine sewing. The result is always a beautiful product that will last years and years. And when it comes to leaving a lasting impression on a client, it’s crucial to use the right combination of fabrics, and manufacturing in order to create a stylish and visually appealing design. Motorizing your window treatments used to mean you had to have a power supply to each window, not anymore! Tatterdemalion Inc. has been motorizing window treatments for over 20 years now. We have options that are battery operated, solar powered or direct plug in, making motorizing your window treatments possible for every client! We work directly with such companies as Lutron, BTX and Somfy making it possible for us to integrate with most home automation systems seemlessly. If you are doing a "New Build" we can spec all the motorization for your contractor and prefer to do so as it guarantees that we have the appropriate electrical in place for your particular treatments.
Being a "Full Service" Sewing Workroom and Studio means Full Service at Tatterdemalion Inc. We have our own exclusive line of Custom Iron Hardware that is far superior to any mass produced iron hardware in reliability, sturdiness, aesthetics and it can be spec'd to the color of your choice. In addition we also realize that not every project calls for drapery. Adding texture to a room through the use of Grass Shades can be a great way to go. In keeping with our level of quality we offer the full line of both Conrads and Hartman & Forbes Woven Woods as well as several other brands, all of which can be motorized. We also have unlimited access to high quality Sun Screens. Or maybe the project calls for a little bit of fabric to soften it up, we are now offering Panel Track Draperies that are made to order.
